Econsuming
During this spring it's the first time that Eco-products are available in shops. Because clothes made of eco-cotton are not easy to find, I will point out the shops and labels concerning eco-cotton products in the Netherlands (Nijmegen)
HEMA

HEMA has different products with different labels with reference to eco-cotton:
Without use of fertilizers and chemical pesticides.
Organic cotton that is also produced ecofriendly and uses ecologic paint.
Entirely biodegradable.
Available products: Socks, bed/pillowsheets, pyjama's, blanckets, underwear (kids). All not really expensive.
C&A

I did not buy products here, but available are: pants (jeans), polo's, t-shirts, tanktops (all really low-priced)
WE
Available products of WE:
- jeans
- longsleeves (around € 25,-)
- t-shirts around € 25,-)

Glocalogic starts here!
'glocal' refers to individuals who think globally and then, act local. 'Glocalists' form a new social class of people who realise that their local actions serve the global thought. In this blog we will show our local actions in the city Nijmegen (Netherlands) to spread glocalogic inspiration and creativity.
In the beginning we focus on two major topics:
* 'ecoproducts': experience eco-products (where is what);
* 'Ideas': thoughts about global applications of local development.
